St. William Fall Fest October 15, 2006
Our Council will have a food booth this year. I’m excited this year because we will have our new church as our background. I would like to thank Tom Bayer, who graciously volunteered to be the chairperson for this event. Please be generous with your time and sign up to help in our booth. It will be a fun day and we will have a great time working together. A sign up sheet will be available at Wednesday night meeting.
Medical Mission
The following message is from our Brother Tino Hernandez:
“I want to thank our Brother Knights in behalf of the Medical Mission for all your support to make the benefit dinner a huge success. Last month I was in Arteaga delivering the medical supplies and in October I will be in Arteaga with the Medical Brigade.”
I personally would like to thank the following Brother Knights who helped with the food preparation. We did out best in light of the fact we were missing our head cook; we got a little wet but enjoyed the fellowship. Thanks for your help!
Jim Barger, Greg Castro, George Flores, Stephen George, Brian Kirking & son Max, Tom Kroll, Larry Lopez and Tony Masterjohn [AND our Grand Knight!].
Knights of Columbus Insurance Program
As the year goes by so quickly, I reflect on the accomplishments our council has achieved thus far. The Fish Fry, Spring Fest, Golf Tournament and new member recruitment are some of the highlights of this past year. However, some events fell short of our goals. One of the goals that we did not meet was recognition as a Star Council. We do have the opportunity to change that by having our new and current members invest in a Knights of Columbus insurance policy. I would like to suggest that each of you take the time to review your current insurance needs and please consider what the Knights of Columbus policies have to offer.
10 Reasons why you should do business with the Knights of Columbus

- Pays one of the highest dividend rates in the industry, $327 million in 2005.
